Pansies and Daffodils Have Arrived at Designs by Lee

Spring is starting to arrive at Designs by Lee, and one of the first signs of the season is here — pansies and daffodils have arrived.

Pansies are one of the earliest flowers you can plant in the spring. They tolerate cooler temperatures and are perfect for adding color back to porch planters, window boxes, and garden beds after a long winter.

Daffodils are another classic sign of spring. Their bright yellow blooms are often the first flowers people notice as the season begins, and they instantly make everything feel a little warmer and brighter.

One of the reasons pansies are such a favorite this time of year is that they can handle the cold much better than most flowers. They’re very tolerant of chilly spring temperatures. If we get a colder night or a light frost and you’re worried, you can simply cover them overnight with a light cloth or sheet and uncover them in the morning.

Even though the weather can still be unpredictable this time of year, these early spring flowers are a great way to start refreshing your outdoor spaces.
