October at Designs by Lee: Fall Events in Stamford, CT
October is packed with fall events in Stamford, Connecticut, and Designs by Lee is celebrating with three special events at the garden center. Join us for Paint the Patch Pink, our Second Annual Carving for a Cause and Trick or Treat at Designs by Lee, plus pumpkins, mums, fall plants and everything you need to enjoy the season. The garden center is full of fall color, pumpkins, mums, seasonal plants and everything that makes this time of year feel special.
This month, we are also hosting three events for our community, with something for families, kids and adults. Whether you are looking for a fun Saturday outing, a night out with friends or a Halloween celebration, we would love to have you join us.
Paint the Patch Pink
Saturday, October 10
11 AM to 3 PM
Paint the Patch Pink is a family fall event supporting Paint the Town Pink and bringing the community together for a fun afternoon at the garden center.
Families can enjoy pumpkin painting, a Magical Pink Witch Transformation, a slime bar, sand art, sensory activities and more. There will also be local vendors, food, sweet treats and plenty to explore throughout the garden center.
Admission to the event is free, with individual activities available for purchase.
You can come for an activity, spend the afternoon with us, shop for fall plants and pumpkins or simply enjoy a beautiful October day at Designs by Lee.
A portion of the event supports an important cause while giving families a fun way to celebrate the season together.
Second Annual Carving for a Cause

Our Second Annual Carving for a Cause is back for another fall evening at Designs by Lee.
This event is designed for adults looking for a relaxed and fun night out. Grab a friend, bring your creativity and join us for an evening of pumpkin carving at the garden center.
Each guest will receive a large pumpkin to carve, and we will have food, snacks and additional offerings throughout the evening.
Carving for a Cause is held in partnership with Fight For Two, making it a fun night out with an opportunity to support a meaningful local organization.
Whether you are coming with friends, planning a date night or simply looking for something different to do on a fall evening, we would love to have you join us.
Trick or Treat at Designs by Lee
Saturday, October 24
11 AM to 3 PM
We are closing out our October events with one of our favorite family traditions.
Join us for Trick or Treat at Designs by Lee, a festive afternoon filled with Halloween fun for kids and families.
Children can dress up in their Halloween costumes and trick or treat throughout the garden center while visiting participating vendors and businesses. There will also be local vendors, activities, food and plenty of fall shopping.
This is a great way for younger children to enjoy trick or treating in a fun daytime setting, and for families to spend a Saturday together before Halloween.
In the event of rain, the rain date will be Sunday, October 25.

Throughout October, the garden center is filled with pumpkins, mums, fall plants, seasonal color and everything you need to decorate your home and garden for the season.
