January at Designs by Lee: Winter Hours, Houseplants & What’s Ahead

January is a quieter month at Designs by Lee, but it’s still a great time to stop in for houseplants, pottery, and indoor gardening essentials — and to see what we’re working on behind the scenes as we prepare for the seasons ahead.

Winter Hours

For January and February, we are operating on winter hours:

Tuesday–Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Closed Sundays & Mondays

These hours allow us to care for our plants and begin planning for spring.

Houseplants & Pottery

Our garden center remains stocked throughout the winter with a wide variety of houseplants for different light levels, along with a large selection of pottery in many sizes, colors, and finishes.

Whether you’re repotting an existing plant or starting fresh, our team can help you choose the right combination.

Winter Plant Care

Winter is a good time to focus on:

Proper watering habits

Evaluating light conditions in your home

Repotting plants that may have outgrown their containers

If you have questions or concerns about your houseplants, we’re always happy to help.

Events & Looking Ahead

We’ll be hosting a few smaller workshops and events during the winter months, with more announcements coming soon. As always, new events and classes will be added to our calendar as details are finalized.
